Pain in general Print E-mail

Acupuncture has a well-deserved reputation for pain relief, in our clinic. We regularly see painful conditions of many types, some with pain all over the body such as chronic fatigue syndrome, or in a localised area such as the foot, a wrist, neck, back in fact, almost anywhere. In Chinese medicine pain is considered to be the result of the stagnation of Qi or blood. And Traditional Chinese Medicine has developed many methods to improve circulation of Qi and blood and thereby relieve pain. When the pain relates to other health problems, homoeopathy, herbal medicine and diet may often be a better choice than only using acupuncture.
